Johnson Pier Coffee Co. was born from a place.

Growing up on Johnson Pier in Half Moon Bay, California, my family operated Princeton Seafood Company, where my grandfather worked as the chef and my family ran the seafood market and restaurant. The harbor wasn't just where we worked—it was home.

Before sunrise, fishing boats prepared to leave the dock as fog rolled in from the Pacific and waves echoed against the rocks. Coffee was part of that daily rhythm, shared among fishermen and harbor workers long before the day truly began.

Although Princeton Seafood Company is no longer there, the spirit of the harbor lives on.

Years later, Johnson Pier Coffee Co. was created to honor those memories and the community that shaped them. Every bag is inspired by the California coast, the people who rise early to build something meaningful, and the simple ritual of sharing a good cup of coffee.
